Job Description
Are you ready to be part of a team that values safety continuous improvement quality and employee well-being CHEP is looking for a motivated Wash Operator to join our team in Piedmont SC.
As a Wash Operator you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of bulk shipping containers using a pressure washer foamer and sanitizing fog. This role requires exposure to water sanitization and soap products to ensure the containers meet the customer expectations.

Qualifications:
Ability to understand and communicate information is essential.

Forklift certification (desired)
Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds on repetitive basis.
Duties:
Washing and Sanitization:
Clean and sanitize containers using a pressure washer and food grade chemicals mixed to correct concentrations.
Maintain cleaning equipment using preventative maintenance checklists.
Keep the wash area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
Inspect containers using test strips.
Product Handling:
Move Containers to and from wash area safely and efficiently.
Stack cleaned pallets in designated areas for drying and further inspection.
Adhere to standard procedures.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) safe handling of materials and adherence to company safety policies
