Elevate Global Tax Strategy at the Forefront of Business Transformation
Join a dynamic team reshaping how global businesses navigate complex tax landscapes. Youll be instrumental in designing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive financial innovation and operational excellence across our worldwide operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Orchestrate Complex Initiatives: Manage comprehensive projects from inception through execution ensuring precise coordination across multiple functional teams
- Strategic Communication: Develop clear compelling project materials and communicate status updates to executive leadership
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Process Innovation: Lead cross-functional retrospectives to continuously improve team workflows and methodologies
- Stakeholder Alignment: Define and refine program objectives ensuring clarity and commitment from all involved stakeholders

Your day will be a blend of collaborative problem-solving strategic planning and cross-functional engagement. Youll navigate intricate tax challenges connect with diverse teams and translate complex financial requirements into actionable project plans.

We are a collaborative group of finance professionals committed to driving systemic improvements in tax strategy. Our vision is to create agile technology-enabled solutions that support our organizations global growth and compliance objectives.
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelors degree in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- 5 years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
- 5 years of leading large complex programs experience
- 5 years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
