Directs and monitors work performed by Custodians assigned to the Environmental Services Department (EVS) in Junction City to ensure EVS is meeting cleaning standards set by multiple regulatory bodies such as; The Joint Commission (TJC) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service (CMS) OR-OSHA Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Licensing or Sanitation agencies. This position works toward the Mission of Oregon State Hospital.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
Two years of lead work foreman work or supervision
OR
Six months of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position AND completion of an accredited vocational-training or construction-training program related to the class concept
OR
An equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Experience in sanitation cleaning and disinfection methods and practices.
Experience implementing custodial training principles
Experience with Joint Commission Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations and Center for Medicare/Medicaid Standards.
Experience in quality improvement
Experience in Human Resources policies and Procedures.
Special Requirements:To be hired you must have a criminal records and driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
