A role on the Supply Chain Operations team means you will support our supply chain facilities in making it easy to deliver to stores and guests while unlocking enterprise growth. You will leverage your analytical capabilities to design and deploy supply chain measures within our value stream and analyze data which solve highly complex business problems related to performance and quality. You will work directly with our field teams to design leading and lagging supply chain metrics and then work with data and business intelligence partners to construct test and deploy those metrics across Targets network. Your role will heavily involve working the data extracting business insights from data solving problem statements gap analysis and constantly evaluating what additional visibility is needed to drive business performance.
As a Supply Chain Analyst Reverse & Recommerce you will be responsible for managing the end-of-life disposition of company assets and non-retail items making decisions to ensure materials are directed to responsible end markets. You will also lead efforts to identify and develop new sustainable end markets for items currently being sent to landfill while maintaining strong partnerships with certified recyclers and vendors. You will lead efforts to manage electronic recycling and e-waste stewardship programs ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. Additional responsibilities include tracking and reporting program performance training internal teams on proper disposal practices and driving continuous improvement in waste diversion and sustainability initiatives. About you:
- 4-year degree (supply chain operations business) or equivalent experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong initiative and willingness to take risks
- Good reasoning conflict-management analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexible resilient and comfortable in grey areas that are constantly changing
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
