Theatre Bookings Team Leader
Location: Oaks Hospital Colchester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Full-time Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 flexible

Summary:
Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Oaks Hospital is a 58 bed facility including 18 ambulatory bays 4 laminar flow Theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre.
The role:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated customer focused Theatre Bookings Team Leader to lead our Bookings Administration teamreporting to the Bookings & Reception Manager.
You will be expected to co-ordinate the bookings process. Ensuring smooth and efficient processes are followed in a timely manner. The team leader role will also involve the co-ordination of the Bookings Administration staff dealing with day to day line management duties of the team.
Liaising closely with clinical staff and other hospital departments you need to have experience in administration as well as excellent communication computer skills and the ability to stay calm when under pressure.
There is a high level of contact with external service users therefore excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team is a priority and drive forward the necessary agenda.
