Join Our Team as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Location: Bedfordshire and the Oxfordshire/Cambridgeshire corridor Must have access to own vehicle during working hours

Are you passionate about making a real difference in peoples lives Were looking for a dedicated and empathetic Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our team and support customers with complex needs to maintain stable housing and improve their well-being.

About the Role

As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer youll manage a caseload of customers facing high-risk factors affecting their tenancy. Youll provide intensive one-to-one support working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver personalised housing management and holistic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred support plans.

  • Deliver intensive housing management and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Managing a caseload of at-risk customers with a structured outcomes-focused approach

  • Monitor progress and adjust support strategies to meet evolving needs.

  • Manage safeguarding and anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases in line with policy.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.

What Were Looking For

  • Clear empathetic communicator with strong organisational and decision-making skills.

  • Experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs in any transferable sector (including but not limited social & residential care homelessness health and emergency services)

  • Strong coaching skills to empower customers encourage engagement and achieve positive outcomes

  • A solution-focused creative thinker who doesnt give up at the first hurdle

  • Knowledge of housing safeguarding and trauma-informed practices (desirable)

Requirements

  • Full access to a car during working hours.

  • Willingness to travel across all bpha sites.
