Summary Statement
A check station Operator Position is available at Augustine Beach Headquarters. The position is responsible for overseeing the daily hunter lotteries including hunter registration assigning deer stands waterfowl blinds and hunting zones via a lottery drawing issuing permit cards and collecting harvest data. Responsible for first line communications with the public and must maintain professionalism during conversations with the public. Other duties may include entering data and aiding the Fish and Wildlife Regional Manager in other activities as needed.
Essential Functions

Ensures the safe usage of state owned managed and maintained grounds and facilities by the public.
Issues permits.
Conducts lottery.
Maintains records detailing daily activity tool and equipment inventory fuel and service logs and related be able to demonstrate responsibility dependability and good communication skills.
Performs other related work as required.
Job Requirements

Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
1. At least 18 years of age.
