Job Description
Job Title: 2 Year Old Lead Teacher Bardmoor YMCA Preschool Academy
Employment Type: Full-Time
Join our dedicated team at Bardmoor YMCA Preschool Academy as a 2 Year Old Lead Teacher! In this role youll help create a fun engaging and safe environment where children can grow and learn while upholding the YMCA values of honesty respect responsibility and caring.

- Hourly Rate: $16.00-$21.00/hr depending on experience.

What Youll Do:
- Provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA values
- Implement curriculum within the established guidelines.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical mental and social development such as games arts and crafts music and storytelling.
- Establish and enforces rules to promote positive behavior.
- Attend to childrens basic needs including supervising meal times playground times and free play.
- Conduct parent conferences and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents. Engages parents as volunteers.
- Maintain required program records.
- Attend and participates in family nights program activities staff meetings and staff training.
What Were Looking For:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of MODS (Introductory Child Care Training Part 1 & 2) is required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus.
- A team player who works well with others and is able to engage with children both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
- Available to work Monday through Friday.
- Pre-employment drug test and Level 2 background screening required.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting standing walking and bending.
- Occasional lifting/moving of up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to focus on close vision distance vision and depth perception while interacting with children.
- Ability to actively engage in planning leading and participating in activities.
