You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA proactive and process-driven Safety Specialist is sought to join the City of Orlandos Risk Management team. Integrates a diverse occupational health and safety management system into operational culture by developing monitoring and implementing new and existing health and safety OSHA and EPA-required training. May have lead responsibilities on team projects and perform incident investigations and analysis of safety and health trends.
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelors degree in occupational health and safety or a related field and three (3) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Valid Florida Drivers License required.
Preferences: Experience in municipal operations including water treatment plants streets and stormwater operations and refuse collection. Qualified CDL instructor. Qualified OSHA 500 / 501 instructor. Environmental regulation understanding.
