Job Description

Position Title: Branch Manager

Reports To: General Manager

Department: Rentals

Location: Addison TX On-site

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations and customer service at Ajax Rentals. This role ensures operational excellence and fosters a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong communication skills a commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to manage resources efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Branch Operations:

  • Oversee daily branch operations ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage equipment inventory including maintenance rentals and returns to maximize utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols for staff and equipment.
  • Manage a small team by setting clear priorities delegating effectively and fostering growth through coaching and feedback.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Coordinate with GM to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and branch growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling rental solutions.
  • Ensure quality control best practice and procurement

3. Logistics and Coordination:

  • Manage the scheduling of deliveries pickups and transportation of equipment.
  • Work closely with drivers technicians and customer service staff to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance and inventory
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements to branch operations and customer service.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration management or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the equipment rental construction or related industry.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and logistics coordination.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Working Environment and Physical Conditions:

  • Computer system data terminal
  • Normal laboratory environment appropriate PPE provided
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs.

Total Rewards

Compensation:Compensation will be commensurate with the applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as alignment with market data and internal comps.

Salary Range:$70000-75000

Additional Compensation:Participation in a Company-sponsored variable compensation plan.
