CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position has the responsibility to drive world class customer support in the areas of operational continuity compliance and customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include implementation and communication of new processes ongoing operational and administrative efficiency and effectiveness of a high paced customer service department.

Will be responsible for:

  • Manage lead coach and coordinate the daily activities of customer service team in timely delivery of service and products and effective response to customer requirements requests and opportunities.
  • Establish procedures and processes ensuring customers are treated in a courteous professional manner.
  • Provide safe and healthy working environment with growth mindset for all team members.
  • Measure maintain and track customer service satisfaction and customer service team member abilities and results.
  • Guide improved employee performance and quality of customer support.
  • Continuously train and support Prepared Foods Customer Service team on any new features or functions with SAP or any other operating systems relevant to customer service and order entry.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer account database.
  • Coordinate product production availability and movement with corporate supply chain teams.
  • Collaborate with food safety quality management production planning distribution planning inventory management warehousing management and transportation management to effectively service customer accounts.
  • Support sales and marketing teams to effect positive sales results.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP SD module
  • Must have at least 5 years of Customer Service experience with minimum 3 years supervisory experience
  • Knowledgeable in logistics and supply chain.
  • Excellent analysis and decision making skills including analyzing information making sound decisions and thinking strategically
  • Must be able to evaluate inventory production and transportation issues to identify and coordinate solutions
  • Ability to guide and promote effective partnerships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to motivate evaluate assist and train and be an effective manager
  • Efficient detail oriented able to follow through with any given task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Drive to meet deadlines exceed goals and surpass key performance indicators
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Must maintain a professional presence
  • Must be willing to travel as needed

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
