The Pharmacy Technician (Pool Traveling Per Diem) obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.The Certified Pharmacy Technician (Pool Traveling Per Diem) supervised by a Pharmacist performs the following duties.
- Retrieves counts and measures drugs
- Assists Pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs
- Accesses inputs and retrieves prescription information from computer
- Refers physicians calls and any medical questions to Pharmacist
- May operate a cash register
- Follow standard policies and practices
- Will work as needed at the following locations: Largo FL and Tampa FL

Required Qualifications
- 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in in the state of Florida
Must have National Certification (PTCB) or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months of hire
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridges Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role you will be required to be screened for TB.
- Ability to travel to cover locations in Largo and Tampa. May have additional opportunities in Plant City as well
- Stand for extended periods
- Frequently required to walk
- Frequently reach with hands and arms
- Frequently bend
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Interview Format:

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.Description of Benefits
