AET Federal is seeking a strong IT Help Desk Technical Writer/ Training Specialist to assist with IT Service/ Help Desk and Call Centers. The ideal candidate will be able to work onsite in Suitland Maryland and come with a minimum of 3-5 years of help desk or technical experience in customer service and Technical Writing.
Duties:
- Provide remote-side support for mobile devices
- Create and edit technical documentation including reports standard operating procedures (SOPs) user manuals system documentation and meeting summaries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to equipment
- Gather information by collaborating with technical staff SMEs and project managers.
- Develop reports and documentation that adhere to federal government formatting standards and contract requirements.
- Maintain version control and document revision history.
- Ensure documentation is grammatically correct consistent and in compliance with organizational style guides.
- Support proposal writing data call responses and presentation materials as needed.
- Participate in quality reviews and make updates based on feedback.
Requirements:
Experience developing the Training Plan training curriculum and materials
Be able to commute to Suitland Maryland daily
Obtain 3-5 Years of experience
Bachelors degree in English Communications Technical Writing Information Technology or a related field.

Experience developing curriculum for Train-the-Trainer delivery
Leads Train-the-Trainer delivery
Experience developing training documentation (User Guide and Tip Sheets)
Experience in delivering training in-person
Prior experience/ knowledge working with help desk/ mobile help desks are a bonus
Compensation: $70000.00 - $105000.00 per year
