Boise Regional Medical Center Pathology Department
SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned department.
HOURS: This is a PRN position that will likely provide about 15 hours a week of opportunity. The hours would be 8-4:30 p.m.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of relevant experience required preferably in a healthcare setting.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and handles general inquiries.
Schedules / coordinates meetings conferences special events appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).
Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.
Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate. Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
