Job Description
Come join a highly innovative team dedicated to building the next generation of online payment systems that support payment products globally with high bar for availability and security! This team is part of the global WW Installments organisation which builds and maintain the next generation Installment products for global Amazon geographies. Specifically you will be working on an innovative product that serves millions of customers on a daily basis improving affordability and generating impact to customers lives.
We are looking for passionate experienced software developers that can lead a team in delivering high quality software solutions to support variety of customer use cases and are scalable to handle amazon volume.
Developers in the team need a strong understanding of Computer fundamentals and practical experience in building full stack large scale distributed systems. Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications especially at massive scale is also helpful.
You are also required to be writing leadership facing tech documents covering tech strategy innovative ideas dive deeps. Strong documentation skills are necessary
Key job responsibilities
- Complete ownership of projects including design implementation monitoring dial-up
- Org Level project activities
- Mentoring other SDEs within the team
- Setting high standards for the team and organisation
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
