Overview:
Quinnipiac Universitys School of Health Sciences invites applications fora dynamic and experienced 12-month clinical faculty at open rank and administrator for the Pathologists Assistant Program who will teach graduate courses and coordinate student clinical placements for the Pathologists Assistant Program.
In this pivotal role you will have the opportunity to shape the minds of tomorrows healthcare leaders by delivering high-quality instruction and providing invaluable guidance to students in the Pathologists Assistant Program. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing engaging curriculum coordinating clinical rotations and fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
This position reports to the Program Director of the Pathologists Assistant Program. The expected start date is immediately and is an on-ground in-person position.
About the School/Program:
The School of Health Sciences is home to approximately 100 full-time faculty and professional staff and enrolls over 2120 students across over 20 graduate and undergraduate academic offerings. The school is organized into 8 departments offering undergraduate majors in biomedical sciences health sciences radiologic sciences medical microbiology & Immunology and diagnostic medical sonography and graduate majors in physician assistant studies occupational therapy physical therapy social work biomedical sciences pathologists assistant and cardiovascular perfusion. Responsibilities:
Education Requirements:
An earned masters degree;
Graduated from a NAACLS accredited pathologists assistant educational program;
Possess a valid certification as a Pathologists Assistant from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
