Behavioral Health Therapist IV

Inova Kellar Center Sterling location is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist IV to join the Kellar Center team supporting our patients and family at our Kellar Center. Assess with having Flexibility in establishing schedule in alignment with center needs and approval of director of outpatient family services. Along with productivity expectation of 30 billables per week and ability to facilitate 1 group per week based on need and clinical approach of therapist. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Hybrid.

Behavioral Health Therapist IV Job Responsibilities:

Serves as clinical expert providing a range of therapeutic services psychoeducational programming and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of individualized treatment plans.
Assesses and diagnoses mental health and/or substance use disorders through a bio/psycho/social department specific and evidenced based assessment identifying patient and family goals/needs.
Serves as a clinical leader by providing clinical supervision to team members seeking licensure as well as supervision/mentoring of graduate students during clinical internships.
Integrates assessments using information related to cultural clinical ethnic age and other factors into the plan of care while providing a range of therapeutic interventions psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions (when indicated) to assist the patient/family in achieving the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Masters Degree Ph.D. PsyD EdD in Mental Health Social Work Counseling Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field.
Experience: Five years of experience post licensure. Specialization in child and adolescent behavioral health as documented by education and previous work experience.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire. CPI in-person training for non-violent crisis intervention receive CPI blue card within 6 months of hire.
