Starting Hourly Pay: $17.50
Work Performed:
The HousekeepingSupervisorwill be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely mannerin accordance with established servicestandards;
Conduct appropriate coaching and accountability of housekeeping associates when service performance or cleanliness standards are notmet;
Provide direction support timely feedback and recognition of performancein keeping with Atriums performance management standardsand CoreValues;
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and verify roomstatuses;
Forecast necessary levels of staffing and supplies to facilitate effective scheduling and orderingwith a focus on profitability and costcontrol;
open and close housekeepingdepartmentby assigning and monitoring dailyoperations;
Manage Lost and Found by tracking items communicating with guests and scheduling items to bereturned;
Promote sanitation safety and security efforts of thehotel;
Assist with scheduling Associates according to businesslevels;
Able to conduct daily stand up with the housekeepingteam;
Use laundering equipment to safely and thoroughly clean and press linen keeping the work area clean andsafe;
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures report equipment problems and maintenance issues accidents injuries and safety hazards or unsafe work conditions to leadership; and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Coordinar actividades con otros departamentos para garantizar que los servicios se presten de manera eficiente y oportuna de acuerdo con los estndares de servicio establecidos.
Realizar entrenamientos adecuados y aplicar medidas de responsabilidad a los asociados del departamento de limpieza cuando no se cumplan los estndares de servicio desempeo o limpieza.
Brindar direccin apoyo retroalimentacin oportuna y reconocimiento del desempeo de acuerdo con los estndares de gestin del rendimiento y los Valores Fundamentales de Atrium.
Inspeccionar habitaciones de huspedes y reas pblicas para asegurar el cumplimiento de los estndares de limpieza y verificar el estado de las habitaciones.
Pronosticar los niveles necesarios de personal e insumos para facilitar una programacin y pedidos eficaces con enfoque en la rentabilidad y el control de costos.
Abrir y cerrar el departamento de limpieza asignando y supervisando las operaciones diarias.
Gestionar el departamento de Objetos Perdidos llevando un registro de los artculos comunicndose con los huspedes y programando la devolucin de los objetos.
Promover los esfuerzos de saneamiento seguridad y proteccin del hotel.
Asistir con la programacin del personal segn los niveles de actividad.
Capacidad para realizar reuniones informativas diarias con el equipo de limpieza.
Utilizar el equipo de lavandera de manera segura y eficaz para limpiar y planchar la ropa de cama manteniendo el rea de trabajo limpia y segura.
Seguir todas las polticas y procedimientos de la empresa en materia de seguridad y proteccin; reportar problemas con equipos problemas de mantenimiento accidentes lesiones riesgos de seguridad o condiciones de trabajo inseguras a la gerencia.
Realizar cualquier otra tarea necesaria para cumplir con el propsito principal del puesto.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Six (6) months of housekeeping and/orrelatedexperience
Preferred Prior Experience:
Hospitality experience
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Technology:
Basic computer knowledge
Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 25lbs regularly
Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible towork dayshifts early mornings eveningsnightsweekends and holidays
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
