Job Description
Stone is looking for a new team member to join us in a unique opportunity! We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow as a die/mold changer. The position would have you on 1st shift for 3-6 months while you train and learn everything you need to know about changing molds in our plastic injection machines. After the training period is over we would move you to either 2nd or 3rd shift (depending on the company need at that time). When you move shifts you will be rewarded with a pay increase! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to advance their knowledge/career by becoming a die/mold changer. Also this position comes with on-the-job training and advancement!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support our internal team leaders
- Train and learn about mold changes for our machines
- PMs on equipment
Desired Skills/knowledge:
- Experience in plastics
- Technical leaner
- Flexible with working all shifts
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year working in the plastics industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Repetitive work and frequent lifting of heavy loads
- 100% Shop Floor Area
Job Type:Full Time
Pay:From $18/hour (With a pay bump and an additional $1.50 shift primum when shift movement takes place)
Expected hours: 40 per week
