About the Job:
As the owner of inventory allocation on the Inventory team you will be responsible for strategies across our two fulfillment centers that optimize inventory productivity and customer satisfaction. You will work cross-functionally with Data Science Operations Transportation and Analytics and report to the Director of Planning. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex data energized by having a direct impact on growth and brings an inquisitive mindset to solving problems.
What Youll Do:
- Track and analyze inventory performance based on historical data product attributes and customer attributes across RTRs various channels by fulfillment center to make proactive allocation decisions
- Lead and regularly communicate allocation insights findings and trends to Inventory team as well as cross-functional stakeholders
- Support the Inventory teams understanding of and ability to improve key allocation metrics by partnering with Data Science team on actionable analyses
- Review and adjust allocation logic based on real-time rental and inventory data to optimize availability and minimize overstock
- Build and evolve allocation tools and processes to support growth and keep up with rapidly changing business needs
- Work closely with Data Science Operations Transportation Analytics and other cross-functional partners to support a seamless execution of inventory allocation activities
About You:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in allocation ideal; retail planning analytics finance consulting retail or an early-to-growth stage company experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an interest in data and its ability to create value and shape business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple mediums and an ability to provide clear concise information to key stakeholders on various teams.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- A strong attention to detail as well as an understanding of how the details fit into the bigger picture.
- An innate sense of curiosity and desire to solve problems make decisions and take action on both an individual and collaborative basis.
- Microsoft Office skills specifically Advanced Excel required; some proficiency in SQL Looker a plus
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances direction and strategy.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $120000 to $135000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
