We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Legal Operations Specialist to join our Legal Operations team. This role will focus on driving specific business transformation projects that enhance operational performance and deliver measurable value across the firm. Working closely with the Legal Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in embedding sustainable change across people process data and technology initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of transformative projects.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the firms broader Legal Operations strategy leveraging your expertise to optimise processes tools and service delivery models.
What will you do:
Lead Business Transformation Projects:Take ownership of specific business transformation initiatives ensuring alignment with the firms strategic objectives and delivering tangible outcomes.
Support Process Improvement Initiatives:Collaborate with colleagues to identify inefficiencies design solutions and implement process improvement methodologies tailored to the firms operating environment.
Change Management:Manage the business change cycle ensuring teams and practices are prepared for and adopt new ways of working. Actively support the embedding of these changes into the firms culture.
Service Delivery Optimisation:Partner with practice groups to design and evolve service delivery models that are future-fit and aligned with the firms technology landscape.
Stakeholder Engagement:Build credible and effective relationships with cross-functional teams including legal finance IT and business services to ensure project success and alignment with organisational priorities.
Metrics and Reporting:Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track the progress and impact of transformation projects providing clear insights into value delivery.
Knowledge Sharing:Work with the Legal Operations leadership team to translate learnings from projects into broader strategic initiatives fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
Experience:At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment with a focus on business transformation and process improvement.
Skills:
o Strong project experience and process improvement expertise with a proven ability to deliver to business objectives.
o Excellent communication organisational and stakeholder management skills.
o Ability to influence across teams and capabilities without direct management responsibility.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite project management tools and data analysis/reporting tools.
Knowledge:
o A solid understanding of the legal sector and up-to-date knowledge of Legal Operations best practices.
o Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies.
Attributes:
o Collaborative management style with a focus on achieving results.
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment.
o Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend sound decisions.
Career Level:
The career level assigned to this role is level 4. The career level framework provides a formal structure for the business services functions at the firm. The framework which ranges from level 1 to level 7 clearly defines the responsibilities skills and competencies required at each level.
