Job Description
We are excited to offer a certified teaching opportunity at a very attractive location in the state of Kansas! Perry-Lecompton Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a part-time certified Early Childhood PreK-4 teaching position. Applicants must hold a current Kansas teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for this position or willing to obtain the endorsement by passing the Praxis exam within two years or willingness to participate in an Early Childhood Apprentice Prgram.
Each classroom in the building is equipped with a Promethean board and each teacher is issued a classroom desktop computer and/or a laptop plus an iPad for teaching and administrative tasks. USD 343 is a 1:1 iPad district. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology for instruction and communication with minimal support.
We generally have various supplemental coaching/sponsor position available.
