Shipping Receiving Associate

Position: Shipping Associate

Summary: Receives and ships fragile customer equipment by performing the following duties.

Location: Roselle Illinois

Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receive unpack and organize customer equipment. Inspects products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.

Log customer equipment into Graftel database and distribute instruments to the appropriate lab.

Carefully pack completed orders and log instruments out of Graftel database.

Create the appropriate shipping labels based on PO instructions and notes in Graftel database.

Organize completed orders and release to the appropriate delivery company

Education/Experience: Previous shipping/receiving and forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Math Ability: Basic math skills for addition subtraction division multiplication. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and volume.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office email and accounting software.
