Clinical Quality Improvement Manager Job Responsibilities:
- The Quality Improvement Manager manages the quality improvement program for the hospitals within the region they serve and will travel between Inova facilities as needed.
- Collaborates with hospitals executive physician nursing and ancillary leaders in strategic planning and implementation of data driven initiatives to achieve clinical excellence within the acute care space.
- Serves as a coach facilitator or advisor dependent upon the needs of the organization and as a subject matter expert in established performance improvement techniques and strategies.
- Participates in the successful management of change to ensure improvements are spread and a sustainability plan is implemented.
- Provides formal and just-in-time education on performance improvement methodologies to increase organizational improvement capability.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years).
- Experience: 6 years of healthcare performance improvement experience; or 4 years of healthcare performance improvement work experience and a masters degree
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or CPHQ required upon start
