DescriptionAs a Test Engineer with Fluke Electronics you will be tasked with analyzing developing implementing and maintaining methods manufacturing operation sequences specifications and equipment requirements for calibration/test of new and existing products. You will assist new product introduction to manufacturing support released product and assist with the retirement of legacy products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations including: 5S/Safety Quality Delivery Inventory and Productivity. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement test systems as needed for new product introductions
- Support maintain and improve test systems throughout the factory
- Drive internal and external quality improvements using root cause analysis and countermeasures
- Identify and drive cost saving opportunities within the factory
- Advise design engineering of existing production capabilities equipment facilities and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O communication boards for various stations
- Coordinate design changes for existing stations as per product requirements
- Validate test stations using software and hardware
- Provide technical assistances for hardware and software debugging
- Review test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited institution
- At least 2 years of related experience engineering experience
- Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitry and ability to read schematics
- Ability to programing in LabView/Teststand C# Matlab C Java etc.
- Root cause analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results
- Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment
- Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization.
