RPlant Operator (Filler) (Open)

Location:

Plumsteadville PA (SGHCLS) - Healthcare - Industrial spec gas

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

The Plant Operator 1 is responsible for filling specialty products into liquefied gas cylinders in compliance with state federal and local regulations. The associate is expected to meet all Airgas safety standards while filling handling storing loading and unloading cylinders. Responsible for remaining productive during their work shift while also supporting the product quality standards set forth by Airgas. A Plant Operator 1 displays knowledge of pure gas filling process product purification techniques and ability to troubleshoot production issues; regularly inspects cylinder fill equipment and performs minor maintenance as needed.

In particular you will:
- Learn and understand hazards of various gases size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
- Accurately label cylinders and boxes.
- Comply with Training safety programs OSHA and all related rules regulations procedures which are applicable to this positions responsibilities.
- Movement of cylinders as required in the plant. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Complete all documentation and forms in compliance with cGMPs policy and FDA requirements during the fill process.
- Maintains a neat clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Adhere to all quality assurance policies and standards.
- Report accidents including near misses unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
- Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Good reading and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good math skills.
- Fill cylinders high and low pressure in accordance with safety procedures and quality.
- Able to operate a forklift.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
