Job Description
Ready to dig deep and build big Primoris Energy Services is on the hunt for experienced Excavator Operators to join our crew for our industrial construction projects in and around Mulberry Florida. Apply Today!
As our Excavator Operator youll be a key player in shaping the groundwork with efficiency skill and attention to detail.
- Operating hydraulic excavators ranging from mid to heavy size (e.g. 120470 series)
- Digging trenches footings pits and foundations to precise dimensions
- Loading/unloading materials into trucks and designated areas
- Safely maneuvering equipment around utilities and tight job sites
- Conducting routine pre-operation equipment inspections and minor maintenance
- Collaborating with site supervisors and ground crews for accurate grading and excavation
- Complying strictly with OSHA and company safety standards
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- 3 years of verifiable experience operating heavy excavators in construction or industrial settings
- Understanding of site plans elevations and laser/GPS grade control equipment is a plus
- Valid Drivers License (CDL preferred but not required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must comply with companys drug and alcohol abuse policy
- Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director
- Must be able to work outdoors and withstand different weather elements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift carry bend crawl squat climb kneel push pull and crouch
