Job Description

As an Associate Analyst your curiosity drives you to uncover insights and solve data puzzles for an Automotive OEM brand. Youll help turn numbers into actionable stories that enhance digital experiences. Youre always asking the next question eager to see how marketing science fits into the bigger picture of each project.

You will learn the day-to-day activities of the marketing science program and support the team in delivering impactful analyses and reports. Your main objective will be to build on your existing skills while learning new measurement methods and tools to capture assemble and organize data into meaningful insights. Youre comfortable using data analytics to support recommendations that improve marketing performance enjoy collaborating with team members and can help communicate business insights clearly and logically to clients.

The Trailhead program is the start of your epic journey at Critical Mass. During your initial 12-weeks you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do who we are and how we make award-winning work with our clients. Our goal is to integrate you into the amazing work we do here at Critical Mass and support you as part of the team to grow your career with us!

Our Fall 2025 Trailhead Cohort commences October 6th 2025.

You Will:

  • Build a deep understanding of client business and digital performance supporting the identification of actionable insights and making relevant recommendations to drive results.
  • Collect organize and analyze complex data sets from websites apps social and media platforms using web analytics survey tools and mobile measurement technologies.
  • Develop tagging requirements validate tracking and conduct data quality assurance partnering with Technology teams to document and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to measurement strategy and framework development gradually building expertise in using analytics to inform optimization and strategic decisions.
  • Generate and interpret reports and dashboards in Excel Tableau or DW/BI systems performing ongoing data quality checks and supporting multiple teams needs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends patterns and correlations in site traffic search and e-commerce data using statistical and data science tools (e.g. R Python GitHub).
  • Assist in segmentation market share and survey analysis and help present findings clearly to both internal and client teams through data storytelling.
  • Support the design and analysis of A/B testing providing insights that optimize site app and media performance.
  • Learn to apply advanced methods such as statistical modeling machine learning and AI tools - including natural language processing - to solve business problems and optimize processes.
  • Document requirements implement data governance protocols and help ensure data integrity privacy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts challenging the status quo and exploring opportunities to enhance user experience site/app functionality and reporting processes.

You Have:

  • An interest in marketing and data analytics.
  • S. degree in a quantitative or technical field. Including but not limited to: economics mathematics business finance social sciences computer science or information management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with any tag management platforms (GTM Adobe Launch Tealium or any other).
  • Experience with any visualization platforms (Tableau Domo PowerBI Datorama etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills active listening skills attention to detail and high standard of output.
  • An eagerness to learn and proactive communication style.
  • Basic working knowledge of Python R SQL or other statistical programming language.
  • Media/Marketing:
    • An understanding of the media landscape ability to determine which channels are most appropriate based on business objectives and experience using the data to make recommendations.
    • An understanding of how Search Engine Optimization (SEO) works alongside other channels and experience analyzing it.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with any website measurement tool (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics or any other).
