Job Description
Substitute Teachers are a vital part of our school communities. With a dynamic and active teaching workforce we rely on qualified individuals to fill daily vacancies across our Kindergarten to Grade 12 classroomsboth English and French throughout the school district.
We offer a range of substitute teaching opportunities that support student learning and contribute to safe inclusive and engaging school environments.
Qualifications
- Must hold a university undergraduate degree (minimum 120 credit hours) or
- Be currently enrolled in a recognized multi-year Bachelor of Education (.) program with at least two years (60 credit hours) completed.
- Priority will be given to applicants who hold or are eligible to hold a valid New Brunswick Teachers Certificate.
- Must have completed a minimum of two years of post-secondary education (diploma or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with children and youth.
- Are committed to creating safe welcoming and inclusive classrooms for all students.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
- Are punctual professional and dependable.
- Are flexible and adaptable as assignments vary in location grade level and class composition.
- Are available for on-call daily assignments.
