Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts delivery process from start to finish.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
- Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
- Complete a daily inventory for parts received and sort into various customer delivery routes.
- Carefully load the delivery truck so that damage to parts does not occur.
- Provide high level service to both internal and external customers.
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations applicable to industry.
- Be able to drive a large box van type of delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts or delivery experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to safely lift approximately 50 pounds
- Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
