Working in conjunction with the IT Department Staff and supporting the day program and/or After Dark/Evening Programs the entry-level Help Desk Support Technician will provide frontline technical support to students faculty and staff. This part-time role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in technology excellent customer service skills and a desire to gain hands-on IT experience in an educational FUNCTIONS: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide first-line technical support for hardware software and network with the setup maintenance and troubleshooting of computers printers projectors and other classroom to help desk tickets emails or in-person requests in a timely and professional issues and solutions in the help desk tracking end-users with basic instructions on school-approved software and technology an organized workspace and secure equipment with the IT team on ongoing projects and technology and terminate Cat6 ethernet cable Other duties as assigned
