Position Overview
City Year Miami is seeking a Senior Evaluation & AmeriCorps Experience Manager to lead the dual mission of using data to drive service impact and ensuring an exceptional service experience for all City Year Miami AmeriCorps Members.
This role is ideal for a dynamic data-driven and people-focused leader who can bridge strategic analysis with human-centered design to enhance service quality member satisfaction and organizational learning.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation & Impact Analysis:
- Lead the collection analysis and reporting of student and service impact data to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage local evaluation systems and maintain high data integrity and accuracy.
- Produce data reports and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the point of contact for third-party evaluations and school data partnerships.
- Collaborate with City Year HQ on data strategy and reporting alignment.
AmeriCorps Member Experience:
- Ensure a consistent and supportive service experience from onboarding through graduation.
- Implement member feedback systems to inform program improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align support systems and resources for member success.
- Support the Service and Learning team in implementing leadership development
Partnerships & Career Development
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and businesses to support AmeriCorps Member development
- Coordinate events and engagements focused on member career exposure and networking.
- Serve as a liaison between AmeriCorps Members and professional pathways partners.
Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with the Government Relations team to support AmeriCorps compliance and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with national Learning & Development and Career Development teams to align local initiatives with national standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience; education background preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in program evaluation data analysis or education-related fields.
- Strong understanding of AmeriCorps or national service programs preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing partnerships and/or supporting youth or early career professionals.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data tools (e.g. Excel platforms).
- Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize effectively and collaborate across departments.
- Passion for youth development
