Position Summary
Performs specialized testing analysis programming and troubleshooting of implanted cardiac devices (implanted pacemakers defibrillators including cardiac resynchronization devices and loop recorders) from multiple device manufacturers.
Essential Functions
Performs specialized testing analysis programming and troubleshooting of implanted cardiac devices (implanted pacemakers defibrillators including cardiac resynchronization devices and loop recorders) from multiple device manufacturers. Provides safe efficient and optimal programming of implanted cardiac devices.
Identifies and interprets complex arrhythmias device behaviors and device diagnostics.
Performs focused clinical assessment of the implanted cardiac device patient including procedural history interval history and assesses response to implanted cardiac device therapy including wound assessment documents appropriately and accurately.
Identifies and addresses sub-optimal programming abnormal findings and/or arrhythmias.
Provides complex implanted cardiac device education and serves as a resource for patients families and health care professionals within and outside of organization.
Assists with set up monitoring troubleshooting and patient teaching of implanted cardiac device home monitoring equipment from multiple device manufacturers.
Participates in implanted cardiac device related research studies.
Triages device related calls and arranges emergent urgent and routine appointments.
