Principal Associate, Executive Technical Support

Capital One is actively seeking a Chicago based Executive Technical Support Specialist to execute and manage support for all technical operations and projects concerning executives including their administrative staff. Responsible for providing technology support including but not limited to deskside user support incident management change management problem management knowledge management endpoint management and business controls. The position will require excellent deskside technical service skills including the ability to efficiently make decisions that lead to problem identification and resolution of an executives issue while keeping disruption to a minimum. Heavy focus on laptop support both Win and Mac OS and Mobile Devices. This role requires a focus on execution accountability and results to improve the end user experience while driving operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills effectively manages up and influences leadership and collaborates well with immediate peers.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide unparalleled technical support experience for executive level clients and their administrative staff

• Ownership of client issues from intake to resolution providing concierge level support including rotating on-call shift for after-hours and weekend support

• Issue troubleshoot and repair computer systems printers and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization

• Provide on premise support for projects and other support teams where needed

• Support enterprise applications leveraging knowledge of current and new technologies

• Anticipate needs and proactively solve issues before clients can be negatively impacted

• Identification of trends in incidents and requests to help identify when escalations are appropriate to get to solutions and reduce volume

• Serve as a the dedicated concierge technical support to the CEO and Executive Committee Members

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma GED or equivalent certification

• At least 2 years of experience in Managing IT projects or operations teams

• At least 2 years Technical Operations experience

• At least 2 years of experience with IT systems and infrastructure

• At least 2 years experience with desktop platforms and operating systems

• At least 2 years of experience with incident management and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree

• 3 years of experience with MAC or Windows Hardware configuration

• 3 years of experience with Google Suite applications

• 3 years of experience in Mobile Device Management

• 2 years of experience supporting executives

• ITIL Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
