AS A PROJECT ENGINEER/SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER YOU WILL:
- Manage and coordinate efforts among cross functional teams to complete projects successfully
- Interface with customers regarding product derivative requests and meet required schedules
- Lead technical discussions with key customers and internal team members.
- Drive technical schedules and develop contingency plans to deliver projects on time.
- Proficiently execute DFMEA to drive qualification plans.
- Ensure performance and reliability of products through analysis testing and collaboration with other groups such as reliability manufacturing quality and supplier quality.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop designs and release new and modified products.
- Lead structured problem-solving method to determine root cause and corrective actions to issues.
- Use Simulation tools and perform analytical calculations in areas of thermodynamics heat transfer and machine design to aid development.
- Work as a team with lab technicians to setup and monitor testing.
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent plus a minimum of one year of relevant experience (will
consider co-op/internship experience)
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to travel: 5-10%

PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Two or more years of relevant experience
- Experience with compressors or other rotating equipment
- Proficient in the use of MiniTab or other statistical software
- Understanding of refrigeration thermodynamics and HVAC systems
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with problem solving methodologies (DMAIC or similar)
