Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register
- Record depreciation and ensure accurate tracking of fixed assets
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items on assigned account reconciliations
- Prepare month-end intercompany allocations and journal entries
- Support team on month-end close procedures for multiple companies
- Review and analyze financial statements
- Prepare month-end financial reports
- Partner with accounting team to prepare for external audit and reporting schedules
- Support other Accounting projects and initiatives as needed
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for accounting policies and controls
What Were Looking For:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and comfort working in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
