GEA provides customized process solutions for the dairy beverage and food industries as well as the chemical sector. Our services include the design construction configuration and installation of versatile and efficient equipment technologies processing lines and complete plants.
To support our continued growth we are looking for a Technical Offer Manager to join our team in Alcobendas as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities:
- Actively managing customer relationships in the assigned market area with a view to establishing long-term business opportunities.
- Reviewing RFQs and clarifyingcustomer requirements.
- Develop conceptual design solutions and costing for timely and economical responses to customer needs.
- Coordination of the complete quotation process ensuring cost effective solutions for customers taking into consideration costing business analysis and market profitability.
- Taking responsibility of coordination of the contributors for the quotation preparation.
- Align internally with all relevant stakeholders during the complete quotation phase.
- Preparing technical requirements.
- Prepare sales presentations.
- Ensuring contracts are negotiated and secured whilst the business and project risks are clearly identified and understood.
- Preparing order acceptance documents.
- Participating in internal handover meetings.
- Provide sales support to the Project Managers during the complete lifecycle of the projects.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Masters degree (MSc or higher) in Food Processing Engineering or a comparable field.
- At least three to five years of experience in technical B2B Sales within relevant industry; experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Proven expertise in project management communication and negotiation.
- Knowledge about process solutions P&ID PFD and FDS will be an advantage
- Fluent Spanish and English skills (spoken and written). A second language (French) is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different disciplines.
- Good team-play spirits with ability to work in international and interdisciplinary teams
- Enthusiastic approach to solve the problem combined with a high capability to think outside the box
- High level of adaptability and flexibility
- Able to take ownership and responsibility
- Must be willing to travel also internationally (up to 30% of the time)
