Company:
Boeing Distribution Canada LtdBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Aircraft Battery Technician - B to join our team in Toronto Ontario.
Position Responsibilities:
Receives and prioritizes orders; Performs initial inspections on units received for repair.
Use a computer in a production environment.
Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions drawings and/or specifications.
Operates various hand and power tools mechanical and testing equipment throughout repair process.
Ensure that parts issued are correct for the specific assembly and are free of visible defects.
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications of OEM or aircraft manual.
Inspect work for quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
Ability to gather retain and recall a variety of facts and data in written and/or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties
Assists other technicians as needed.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of mechanical experience as a machinist mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes
1 years of experience using electronic measuring tools and equipment such as Multi-meters
Ability to lift push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Currently hold an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and/or an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) license
Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
SAP experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $35000 $50000 CAD
