Job Description

Seeking a highly capable Project Controls Specialist to support our Scaffold & Insulation operations at the Samsung SECAI project. This role plays a key part in driving project performance through precise tracking of earned value proactive change management and strong analytical support. The ideal candidate will combine skills with a sharp eye for detail helping ensure accurate forecasting reporting and project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to track project progress against baseline schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance indicators including labor productivity budget variances and schedule trends.
  • Support Change Management by identifying quantifying and tracking scope changes RFIs and cost impacts.
  • Collaborate with field teams project managers and client representatives to ensure alignment of reporting and status updates.
  • Generate daily weekly and monthly progress reports with key metrics charts and narrative summaries.
  • Maintain accurate cost and labor forecasts using historical data current trends and input from operations.
  • Manage KPIs commitments and invoicing progress.
  • Support billing validation and client reporting with backup documentation for earned quantities and change orders.
  • Participate in schedule reviews and look-aheads to anticipate and mitigate delays.
  • Ensure documentation of all work completed for compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in project controls cost tracking or project support roles ideally within industrial services (scaffold insulation coatings).
  • Strong understanding of construction cost tracking work breakdown structures (WBS) and earned value principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook and Teams); MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction productivity tracking and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Self-motivated detail-oriented and adaptable to fast-changing site conditions.
