Job Description

Hiring Opportunity: Columbus Ohio

Our Client is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Manager for their facility in Columbus Ohio! Our Client is a world leader in Forging and machining of steel components for the automotive industry!

The Facilities Maintenance Maintenance Manager would be responsible for the upkeep Maintenance and efficient operation of the facilities infrastructure.

Qualified candidate would have experience with facilities management a bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field HVAC knowledge electrical knowledge building codes and regulations.


Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the upkeep maintenance and efficient operation of a facilitys infrastructure and equipment
- Maintenance and repair various building systems such as HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of equipment and systems
- Analyze and resolve facility related issues utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex problems
- Manage facility related projects including equipment installations ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure facilities and equipment adhere to safety regulations and building codes
- Managing facility maintenance budgets and expenses
- May lead and/or supervise facility maintenance staff contractors and vendors
- Analyze facility performance data to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency and cost reduction
- Works with other departments and external vendors to support operational needs and ensure project success
- Works with SAP system to assign work orders and track technicians work
- Participate in 5S TPM and Kaizen activities
- May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering or a related technical field is required
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing setting
- PE license beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing systems building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in using maintenance planning software and tools
