Position Summary: The Coordinator of Elementary Counseling Education Training andDevelopment is responsible for implementing a sustainable ASCA aligned system of tieredsupports to address student emotional behavioral and mental health supports for elementaryacademic counseling. This role ensures all elementary school counselors and deans are
developed aligned with the ASCA model and supported to provide each student with anindividualized and equitable academic trajectory leading to increased attendance increasedawareness of emotional intelligence while working with school counselors and deans toeliminate barriers to learning. This role leverages data to surface and address programmatic
gaps and inequities and scales effective programs to increase Tulsa Public Schools studentachievement and to prepare all students for academic success. The Coordinator of ElementaryCounseling education Training and Development will also develop professional developmentand support to build school personnel knowledge and skill.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in counseling or counseling related field
Experience:
Two years experience facilitating professional development systems and structuresrequired
Two years experience creating and implementing training required
Experience managing a team preferred
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Certified School Counselor or Licensed eligible Therapist preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Spanish speaking a plus
