The Prime team seeks talented engineers who take great pride in both the technical and business contribution of their work. You will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our systems our business and most importantly our customers. As a member of the Prime team you will work closely with the business team to design and implement new features you will use a variety of core languages and technologies including Java Perl and Linux to name a few and build highly scalable services in order to bring the Prime experience to a large variety of Amazon business.

Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
* Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
* Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
* Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
* Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
