The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Fighters (F-15 and F/A-18) Hardware Development Senior Program Management Specialist (L5) to join our dynamic team in Berkeley MO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads Fighters Development Program Integration Office (PIO) efforts for a portfolio of hardware and capability development programs enabling top level plans to coordinate/report program execution results and best practices internally and with customers and suppliers.
- Primary interface with multiple Fighters Development program managers.
- Supports the Fighters Development leadership team organizing sound execution of a portfolio of program organizational work structures top level program and execution plans.
- Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities teams suppliers partners and customers.
- Facilitates the resolution of program issues.
- Performs program execution by coordinating program metrics.
- Integrates the implementation of Program Management Best Practices.
- Implements customer and program communication and contact plans.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience in project or program management
- 3 years of experience in leading technical teams
- Active US Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Experience in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders military customers and suppliers
- Experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
- Experience leading complex development projects
- Experience leading classified development projects
- Project Management experience with Cost Schedule and Technical oversight
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
