General Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director for Housing this role will execute marketing strategies and communications for Housing and Residence Life (HRL). Additionally this role will support occupancy management functions to maximize housing occupancy in residence halls and apartments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in marketing public relations communications business or a related field is required.
Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative approach to management is required.
Demonstrated experience in digital and social media marketing with knowledge of current trends and best practices is required.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is required.
Proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g. basic and some advanced functions of Windows and/or Mac operating systems Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel PowerPoint the internet and web-based forms) and the ability to learn and utilize complex systems and databases is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of related work experience in marketing and coordination is preferred.
