Caregiver

Village Caregiving - Eau Claire is seeking a compassionate and reliable PRN In Home Caregiver to join our team in Hillsboro Wisconsin. This is a Part Time hourly position in the healthcare/medical field providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes. The caregiver will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being and independence of our clients through personalized care and support. This is an individual contributor role with a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $20 per hour paid semimonthly.

Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one care and assistance to clients in their homes promoting their well-being and independence
Assist with daily activities such as personal grooming bathing dressing and mobility
Administer medication and assist with other medical needs as directed by a healthcare professional
Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Communicate effectively with clients their family members and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Attend trainings and meetings as required

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting preferred
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation to and from client homes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate patient and able to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds
Able to work independently and follow care plans accurately
