Responsible for leadership of Patient Access all its supporting functions and the leadership for supporting Sanford for development of new initiatives; training and staffing support as needed through the provision of oversight direction and coordination.Job Description
Requires effective leadership sound judgment and strong decision making abilities. Must be a systems thinker team oriented patient and business focused innovative and self directed. Execution of vision strategies and quality improvement activities is required for the achievement of the department and organizational goals. Must be knowledgeable in research and evidence based practices and ensure that the utilization of practices are integrated into operations; consistent with or outperforming national standards and benchmarks. Responsible to encourage and evolve individual and professional growth as well as development of interdisciplinary team based learning for the simulation and programmatic arenas. Effective collaborative skills are required to direct and design innovative solutions that incorporate safety quality risk human capital and organizational development perspectives. Must be able to research plan develop and implement projects programs communication strategies with leaders department support and vendors. Must build effective relationships with organizational and business entities and is accountable for personnel management and fiscal management of related budget. Responsible for the oversight of Patient Access enhancement opportunities including but not limited to denials management and accounts receivable improvement. Must have foresight of how operational changes affect other departments processes system workflows and other requirements to ensure successful business management. Skill to balance Patient Access needs throughout the organization and to assist in managing overall needs of the region while providing uncompromised care to the customer. Responsible for managing the entire scope of Patient Access processes from managing the quality veracity of each workflow to leading and orchestrating migration of the customer front end experience. Strategically builds a productive and focused team to achieve the objectives of the department. Ensures staff development is in line with strategic organizational and departmental objectives. Involved in candidate selection and onboarding including scheduling training and integration into team. Evaluates employee performance and supports continuous professional development for employees.
Qualifications
