WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Ensure Latin America financials are following US GAAP standards and SOX Compliance guidelines
Reconciliation of Latin America event P&Ls and Show Settlements
Assist locals and SA team with Corporate Reporting Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation to Third Party Latin America Systems
Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
Prepare and enter month-end journal entries
Maintain internal control policies assist in audits and liaise with internal auditors.
Maintain control and reconcile complex accounts.
Assist with quarterly reporting and special projects as assigned.
Maintains and Reconciles Monthly Eliminations of IFRS adjustments.
Position primarily office-based may require travel to events and working evenings plus occasional weekends for month-end close and show settlements.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Masters degree in accounting CPA or CPA candidate
3-5 years related work experience preferably Big 4 (Audit & Entertainment Experience a Plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project Management Experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Strong analytical skills and organization skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel
Oracle and SAP experience a plus
Bi-Lingual (Spanish & Portuguese) Requirement (Flexible on Portuguese not deal breaker)
SOX and US GAAP experience - Highly desirable
