Job Description
The Poker Dual Rate is a crucial position responsible for both dealing cards with precision and providing direct supervision within the poker room. This role requires a professional who can cultivate a welcoming and exciting environment for guests while also overseeing dealer performance managing poker room procedures and ensuring adherence to all gaming regulations and company policies. Youll be instrumental in maintaining the security and efficiency of all table games.
Responsibilities
- Deal cards accurately ensuring precise counts and payouts.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for all guests.
- Direct and supervise the work of poker dealers providing leadership and guidance.
- Contribute to staffing decisions performance appraisals corrective actions and terminations for dealing staff.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the poker room.
- Conduct regular inspections of decks and ensure the security of table games.
- Monitor all poker room activity and report any irregular play to Poker Management.
- Assist guests with gameplay and ensure strict adherence to established rules policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures reporting any hazards to the Table Games Manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment.
- Ability to lead and guide other employees effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
- Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to consistently provide a high standard of service.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required licensing from the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Successful completion of training in CNE Gaming Academy.
