Hiring Opportunity: Columbus Ohio
Our Client is looking to hire a Production Planner for their facility in Columbus Ohio! Our Client is a world leader in Fording and machining of steel components for the automotive industry!
The Production Planner would be responsible for managing customers supporting all materials master planning activities.
Qualified candidates would be experienced in MRP SAP Inventory controls and production planning.
Job Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be responsible for managing multiple customers supporting all materials and master planning activities including production control and scheduling materials planning and stock accuracy
- Continuous improvement of work and activities
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Adherence to 5S principles
- Monitor and control the activities for optimal production orders management
- Improve stock accuracy by monitoring receipts and consumption of materials
- Create implement and maintain supply chain KPIs
- Actively participate in logistics continuous improvement projects
Job Qualifications :
- Thorough understanding of MRP
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of inventory controls
- Notion about production planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
