Job Description
Position Duties and Responsibilities Except as specifically noted the following functions are considered essential to this position::Serve as school network administrator.:Handle service requests for technical assistance and assist users in day-to-day operations Including:Troubleshooting hardware and software preventive maintenance and cleaning of systems.:Overall responsibility for installation configuration monitoring of LAN components including Network switching equipment servers and network operating systemslncluding. 56 user voice over IP phone systemWindows vm servers and hardwareNetwork switchesFirewallBell vape detectorsPrintersCopiersProjectorssmart boards and interactive displays. Wireless System with 30 access computers and peripherals. School laptops.1 to 1 student Chromebooks:Sets up new devices on Windows Domain for students and teachers. Install and configure Network backup and virus protection systems.:Manage student and staff G Suite accounts Including new devices apps email testing kiosks and go Guardian.:Manage student Chromebooks including.:Quoting and purchasing Chromebooks including Chromebooks for the new 7th grade yearly.:Configuring (Joining to the Google domain) and assigning Chromebooks for new students.:Manage and facilitate repair of Chromebooks.:Upgrade and replace end user hardware and related peripherals:Assist end users with integrating and understanding new technologies in the classroom and workplace.:Provide quotes for technology equipment and devices. Helps with preparing the tech budget.:Support staff with software and hardware.:Support Powerschool Student Information System .:Manage Users and user roles in MY DOE for Profile School.:Work with SDBSN our managed service provider on Profile School issues.:Purchase chromebooks & other technology equipment needed
